THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO...

• Arrive early 

  Up front parking is the bomb... especially if you are hauling your kids' gear along with your own.  Parking is only an issue on weekends and holidays, but if you plan to arrive between 7:30 - 9:15 you'll be stoked on close-up parking.  Otherwise, be cool and wait for our friendly shuttle drivers... you'll be glad you did.

• With All-Mountain Lift Tickets (and season passes) you really do get it all!  

  All lifts, 25K Nordic Center (Thursdays - Sundays and Holidays), and Night Skiing (limited night skiing, see schedule)

• Pack the night before! (especially if you are bringing the kids). 

  We recommend either of these sound strategies: Each family member has their own ski bag and checklist.  Or, use clear plastic bins i.e. HELMETS-HATS-GLOVES-GOGGLES and COATS-PANTS. Remember, everything will be a bit damp for the ride home so be sure to unpack and dry things out immediately.

• Hydrate & pack snacks

  Be sure to drink lots of water during the week prior to your trip.  Staying hydrated makes learning easier!  We also recommend that you pack some snacks for yourself and your group.  Cold weather can tire you faster than usual and a quick bite can keep you much happier on the hill!
  

• White Pass is more than just the mountain, we're part of the White Pass Scenic Byway
  

• East - Check out the Oak Creek Elk Feeding Station east of WP then head into downtown Yakima for some wine tasting or for our world famous craft breweries. 
  

• West - Visit The Palisades View Point  located along U.S. Hwy. 12 about 2.5 miles east of junction with Wash. Hwy. 123.

  Another west-side fav is, The Mountain Goat Coffee Company, where "Coffee & Baking are done right... nothing fake."  Stop in, you'll see why we like them!

• HWY 123 IS CLOSED IN WINTER

  Double Check your navigation system Sometimes Siri gets it wrong.  Make sure your navigation doesn't lead you astray.
