After decades of perseverance, White Pass is proud to announce the opening of Paradise Basin,

an addition of 767 acres that doubles the size of the ski area. Rolling alpine meadows, skiing

and riding in the trees, and glorious views of nearby Mount Rainier characterize Paradise Basin.

The expansion terrain is served by the Couloir Express (quad chairlift) and the Basin Quad.

Located on a slight ridgeline between the Couloir Express and Basin Quad, the new High Camp

Lodge will provide all the amenities necessary to spend the entire ski day in Paradise Basin. With

significant expansion of the lift network, White Pass has installed the Axess RFID ticketing system.

Customers will also notice additional parking facilities on the southeast end of the ski area.

This is available in addition to the existing lots and roadside parking on US 12.
