What is RFID?

White Pass employs RFID direct-to-lift ticketing. Our passport smartcard includes an RFID chip that will be read as you approach the  Axess Gate System at Great White. Electronic readers  will identify your ticket or season pass as valid and you'll make your way onto the chair.

On your first visit of the season, you'll purchase the Passport smartcard, our Axess RFID-enabled card, which will serve as your lift ticket on all visits to White Pass.

Season pass holders who have reloaded online should go direct-to-lift on opening day! There is no need to stop by our ticket booth.

  • After your first day on the mountain, simply reload your Passport with your next single or multi-day ticket via our RELOAD PASSPORT page.

Online reload allows you to bypass the ticketbooth and go direct-to-lift on all future visits!

PLEASE NOTE:

  • White Pass requires that all Passports & Season Passes be externally worn and visible to our attendants.
  • Be aware that a cell phone, an MP3 Player, smartcards from other mountains and even some credit cards can block the Radio Frequency signal from being read by the antennas thus preventing the gate from opening- be sure to carry those items on the opposite side from your Passport or Season Pass
  • Restrictions:
New photos for season passes are not available when reloading. Passport Cards/Passes can only be reloaded if the skier is not changing pass types or age groups. Examples:
